Hello, and welcome to my website. My Name is Colin Watt and I am a fully disclosed (PVG), City & Guilds Qualified, Portable Appliance Tester, based in Innerleithen.

The service I offer is flexible and cost effective, using the latest Seaward testing equipment.
The testing process is fully
documented and complies with the latest IET Code of Practice (4th Edition) guidelines. The tests are customised to suit your own individual, or business requirements and can be carried out at a convenient time to minimise disruption. I offer competitive flexible rates, based on the type of tests/assessments required, and the appliances being tested. I do not charge VAT.

As an I.O.S.H. trained risk assessor, I can also carry out portable appliance "Risk Assessments" as recommended in the IET Code of Practice (4th Edition) guidelines. These assessments, which can save you a lot of time, "hassle" and expense, are customised to your particular business environment, and include guidance on the frequency of future inspections, some of which you can now carry out yourself.

With over 40 years experience in running a small business I am more than happy to help you with your Portable Appliance Testing, and Risk Assessment enquiries.
